BNP Paribas Real Estate is strengthening its pan-European logistics team by appointing Thierry Bougeard as Head of Logistics and Industrial. Reporting to Larry Young, Head of BNP Paribas Real Estate’s International Investment Group (IIG), Thierry will be taking over from Anita Simaza.

Based in Barcelona, he will head up the European coordination of the Logistics business (Investment and Rentals/Sales), alongside the local teams of BNP Paribas Real Estate.

This pan-European team, managed by Thierry, will continue to develop schemes with investor clients based in Europe, Asia, Middle East and North America, as well as assisting our occupier clients in their European expansion.

The 55-year old Thierry Bougeard has extensive experience in logistics. He began his career in 1990 as a consultant before becoming head of the industrial and logistics department of Auguste Thouard in Paris (which later became BNP Paribas Real Estate). He then took over the management of this business in Spain in 2010 and was appointed General Manager of BNP Paribas Real Estate Advisory in Spain in 2014.

Logistics is a key sector for BNP Paribas Real Estate and one of the cornerstones of its development, strengthened by the growth of e-commerce and the resulting real estate requirements. Thanks to his experience, his market knowledge and his international exposure, Thierry is set to make a major contribution to achieving the company’s growth targets on capital markets as well as setting up solid coverage of investors at the pan-European level”, indicates Larry Young.
